Alscot Estate made a submission to Stratford District Council in December 2014 and January 2015 regarding the airfield as an alternative site for employment land as part of the Draft Core Strategy. The Estate was aware that allocated employment land sites within the Draft Strategy were concentrated to the north of Stratford and felt this was an imbalance that was addressed by the submission. In light of the Planning Inspector’s comments, the Estate is looking forward to working closely with SDC to see how best the site can be utilised for employment use.
